I would like to buy BB mounting brackets and freewheel cranks to use an ezip trailz motor in a mid-drive setup. I just bent the rim of my ezip trailz bicycle. Since I now have a working motor (450w, 9t), 24V lithium battery (made myself), and controller still working, I decided to experiment with a mid-drive before spending $100 for a new tire, as that is half of what I paid for the trailz. I also have a quadricycle, which is really just 2 independent recument bicycles tethered side by side and branded as CosyCycle, that has a 68mm BB I would like to try a mid-drive on. The quadricycle weighs in at 95 lbs so even with the 34T granny gear my wife and I work going up anything more than 5% grade, and at 20%-30% we are pedaling only 10rpm while pushing with maximum force against the recumbent seats! I have put the ezip rear wheel on the quadricycle which really helps but since it is not gears for going slowly up hills its battery life was not very good.

Is there a company that sells the BB mounts and freewheel cranks to make this conversion easy? I know GNG sells at 250W kit for about $200 that has motor with similar mount, but that includes a new motor and controller which I don't need. I currently have just a cotterless (square taper) bottom bracket.

Thanks,
Tim
