fractured elbow today.

I know a guy locally that doesn't charge much if any. He's a dealer for e-bikekit and that's the kit I have. His site is underscoreev.com. I bought the kit from him. He's looked at 3 batteries of mine and fixed one of them for free. The other 2 were shot. I did a parts trade plus $50.00 with him for a front kit which is now my fall back kit.

Was finally able to take some pictures. I'm not going to describe them as they speak for themselves.

Well I re-installed the front kit on my GT today. I was really bored and had to do something more productive than just healing. I still need to attach the controller and battery and I still need to adjust the brakes but that'll get done when I can actually ride again.

Yeah I know I'm crazy but I went for a short neighborhood ride about an hour ago. It was mostly a one armed affair. I was finally able to play a few hours of Xbox last night.

Well I made myself a little mobility bike/scooter out of a, broken very little, blue frame I have. I'm going to use it for short errands until my elbow heals all the way. Ii's an R-Martin LX1 bike frame with an e-bikekit rear DD kit and a 48V 10Ah lithium ion pack. There is no chain or rear derailer and it only has front brakes. I've paralleled the cranks arms and use them as foot pegs. I tried to seize up the bottom bracket so that they wouldn't swing freely but I can't. I think I'm going to bungee the crank arms forward so that they don't swing as much and will have give when I go over bumps to cut down the jarring on my legs. The part of the frame that's broken is the tapered piece that was welded onto the seat tube for the seat post. It broke off at the weld so there's no way to secure the seat post currently. I just stick my extended length seat post down into the frame and have fun swiveling slightly on the seat. I wouldn't be able to pedal it if it could be pedaled. The position of the handle bars keep my elbows bent in so my left elbow doesn't hurt when I ride it. The rear dropouts are really widely spaced so until I get a bunch of washers/spacers, I'm using 2 vice grips on the axle to center the wheel and tighten the nuts down. Here's some pics:
