Front loading cargo battery/front hub

Hello All,

I've been riding a first gen Lectric xpedition for daycare dropoffs but now have a third child, so want to expand my carrying capacity by getting a frontloading cargo bike, so I will have two riders in front of me in a bucket and one behind in a standards kids seat. I plan on getting the Argo Cargo 2.0 kit, after hearing good things about the 1.0 from a few owners I've talked to.

The argo cargo kit needs a base bike, so I am searching for a rigid mtb or gravel bike 26" rear tires, ideally a steel frame but I think aluminum will be fine if it's a newer bike. DI'll take feedback on what kind of base bike I should get, but what I am really searching for is feedback on a motor/battery system. I've like what I've read here and other places about Grin, and I will list a few more preferences below. My standard route is 7-10 miles with 300 feet of climbing and a few stop/starts. I'd love to be able to maintain near 20mph on the "big" hill (80 feet over .3 miles) even if that requires some moderate effort from myself. What type of voltage/battery size do I need to accomplish the goals of this system?

motor preferences
-front hub (will have loaded weight in cargo box most but not all times)
-torque sensing
-regenerative braking? not a must, but looking for feedback on this.

Desired max range at what cruising speed. 15-20 mi at 15-20mph
Preferred bike wheel size, or wheel size of bike you want to convert. 26" rear, 20" front

Terrain. Rolling hills, 5-7% grades over .25 to .5 miles

Is the 7-10 miles roundtrip, or each way?
The "big hill" appears to be 5% when the numbers are put in a grade calculator. Why is it called the "big hill"? Longest sustained uphill? Are the 7% hills steeper but a shorter distance? If you're pedaling, 5% for 0.3 miles shouldn't be a problem.
Do you know the weight of the cargo kit?
Budget could be a little tight, which I assume include the battery. The Grin stuff is great, buy a little more pricey, so you may need to compromise a bit.

Normally on hills, the slower wind motors are recommended, but with the small 20" drive wheel, you can go with a standard wind. A fast wind may still work, but I don't think it's the best idea.

With a 7% grade, assuming 352lb total weight, you can achieve 19.3 mph, and 25 mph on flat ground. On the "big hill" 5%, you can do over 20 mph. This is with low probability of overheating the motor. Anyway, more details will help figure out exactly what you need. There are a lot of options.

7-10 is roundtrip. It's "the big hill" cause it is the longest sustained, and has a 7-10% pitch at the bottom. I will be pedaling.

The v1 kit weighed 39 pounds, I believe this one is lighter but no specs available yet. I updated my budget and I think your two design options are within, albeit at the top.

The model is only showing one option or combination of motor, battery, and controller. System A represents riding on flat ground, while B shows the performance on a grade. At 10%, the system should do 15 mph, but 20 mph on 7%. If you click the link, you can change parameters, or motors, to get a good idea of how the combinations will perform.
