I’m using 6s on a 236kv motor. 9” wheels.

I am limited on space with the scooter I am building so it has to be 6mm chain drive I think.

The motor shaft is 6mm, so as far as I can see, I can go up to max 12 teeth front with a sprocket that has grub screws. If this is too small, can anyone link me to others with grub screws for the motor shaft?

Would 12 teeth work up front and what do I need for the rear? I want a good pairing of torque and speed to make it fun.

Thanks for that. I have a motor and most of the parts to do the build from previous projects. The only thing I really need is the sprockets and chain. Due to this, I need to use a 6mm motor shaft, which looks like it limits choice on a front sprocket. The best choice on here is 16-36 teeth I think, but I can only find up to 12 teeth for a 6mm bore

Perfect, I didn’t realise there was different names for the same thing. Thanks!
