I AM BUILDING A NEW BIKE THAT BASICALLY MIRRIORS A PRIOR BUILD ... I ORDERED A NEW PHASERUNNER AND GMAC HUB...THE NEW HUB IS TOTALLY NON RESPONSIVE... IF I REPLACE THE HUB WITH PRIOR BUILD HUB EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD ..THUS ELEMENATING NEW PHASERUNNER AND COMPNENTS.. I AM RUMNNING A HEADLES BUILD SO NO C A .....I TOOK GREAT PAINS TO INSURE THE WIRES DID NOT GET DAMAGED AT THE FRAME.. I HAVE BEEN WATING A WEEK ON A REPLY FROM GRIN SO I HAVE DECIDED TO PLOW AHEAD WITHOUT THERE HELP.. ANY THOUGHTS ON POSSIBLE ISSUES...I TRIED TO TO DO AN AUTO TUNE VIA THE PHASERUNNER SUITE BUT I GOT A MESSABE SAYING NO MOTOR DETECTED..

THANKS IN ADVANCE

If the prior build hub and the new hub are the same model, and the new one doesn't register, and the wires are good, maybe you got a bad hub?

PS: Your caps lock key is stuck on. ;)

You probably have a wiring error on the motor.. it would be a warranty issue.. i would not recommend opening it to attempt repair without their advice.

Diagnosis w/o opening the motor would involve purchasing an ebike motor/hall tester and wiring it up to the opposite end to identify the problem.

It gets busy there every spring. Next week, remind them you have been waiting a week.
