Final Update:
Both insurance companies pulled through. My medical bill is being paid full by my car insurance (of all things) under a no fault claim with 0 deductible. Her insurance company sent me 150$ after I sent them a bill of parts for the spindles and supporting seat with pictures.
So im very happy about all this
Saved myself some 400+ dollars. Thanks to all about the advice and everything you told me.
I guess not all insurance companies are bad haha.
