......in any case, can somebody please give me a general overview of the basics of wiring a Cycle-Analyst to a controller? Thanks.

It's the same for all the newer versions 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 and quite intuitive, look at the very bottom here http://ebikes.ca/drainbrain/CycleAnalyst_Manual_Vers22.pdf
For speed you'll have to look up how to get a signal if you're running sensorless. For sensored it just ties to one of the hall sensor signal wires. The green wire on the Greentime connectors is the throttle override wire, which is explained under section 9, about 2/3rds the way down here http://ebikes.ca/drainbrain.shtml
Have you gotten yours going sensored yet? If so and it wasn't a connection problem, what did you have to do, since that would be interesting to know?
I wonder this too.kentlim26 said:what is the Black and white wire for what connection ?

ian.mich said:all brushless motor controllers are very similar especially from china, this ones fairly straight forward, and leo will help you with any problems. 5 thick wires, 2 battery (red and black) 3 phases (green yellow blue), then you got the hall connector, standard big white 5 wire connector thing from china, replace ASAP along with the battery and phase connectors (I like to use the JST SM 5 pin for halls, 50A andersons for battery, and 4mm bullet connectors from hobbyking for the phases), 3 standard wires for the throttle, a red and purple key switch wire, and a purple and yellow (come on separate connectors) for the braking. Cruise is *black and pink, 3 speed is blue black and orange. then there's PAS, reverse, and cycleanalyst plug (careful with the CA plug, ppl have been saying its not wired right). havent touched those 3.
