I' am trying to put an after market taillight/brake light on my Bladez Transporter. The light as 2 wires instead off 3. One is for the brake light and the other is for the tail light and the mounting bolt is the ground. On my controller I have a connector I can use for that purpose. Wire #1 (brake light) will go into the positive of the connector and #2 wire (tail light) will be spliced on the ON-OFF switch. My question is: canI put a ring connector between 2 flat washes on the mounting bolt and run a wire to the negative part of the connector? Will it work?

If the place the light is going to bolt on to is *not* electrically connected to *ANYTHING* else on the scooter, then you could do what you propose.

If it *is* electrically connected to anything else on the scooter, and that thing is *not* battery ground, then you cannot mount the light there directly. You would have to bolt the light to an insulator, then bolt the insulator to the scooter, ensuring the mount bolt cannot touch the scooter there.
