I liked the vid with the commentary much more than some random music. Or maybe you can do both but with lower music and commentary when appropriate? Keep 'em coming!

Crazy sick dirt jumps, super tight hairy turns, pure candy for a bmx. A touch muddy for my street tires, so left with tail between legs, humbled, even tho no one there... didn't think teens could work that hard!dbaker said:Tell us about the skate park near Betco

Yeah, that track is something. After fooling around there, I decided my bike is just too big for it. The jumps go vertical... Insane.
Oh, and they've fenced off the old convention center ramp thing, near my office, near the Bolt Bus stop. I was planning on doing more jumps there! Bummer...
I've got a battery bag replacement vid in the can (so to speak), and there's so much narration, I'm thinking of junking it altogether. One can only hear oneself talk for so long before madness and shame ensue.
Anyway, I replaced the old cordura which lasted a year or so. I slightly redesigned it, using sticky back velcro on the battery box. I spent an hour pinning sew-on velcro to the bag itself, then dropped it off with our lovely local drycleaner/seamstress :wink: to sew up (since I broke our machine a while ago w/ the sticky back stuff)
The rear tire had a flat when I went to race to pick up the kids...
But seeing this at home later eased the pain:

I have a question to ask you about the CA's Efficiency wh/hr. I am getting 65wh/hr on my CA and is that bad? I looked in technical section forum and I find some folks getting 22 wh/hr on their 9C motor. How do I determine maximum Efficiency wh/hr on 9C 9x7. I mean do there any indication maximum wh/hr on CA while riding on my ebike. I am getting like 18 miles when the 20s2p LiPo's LVC board triggered (cell hit 3v). I don't know if it still good or bad?

Loved the new video, my god that was so close!! great reactions not so sure that my brain would be quick enough on a Monday morning commute to work :lol: really liked the voice over, nice touch! oh and on the horn front get an airzound, I have had one for years they are amazing and put the shits right up cars when you get close, they really dont like it ha ha. That guy in your video moved over in the lane to try and block you? what a dork?
I find that so many car drivers just dont like the fact that a bike is going past them, they are sitting in a gas guzzling car going nowhere and you carve past them with no effort, I think car drivers accept motorcycles doing this but not bikes, you see this rage in inner city areas even with normal cyclists, for some reason car drivers feel they own the right to be there and bikes dont because cyclists dont pay taxes?
Such a stupid attitude as most cyclists also own a car or some form of taxable transport and are normally commuting on their way to or doing a job where they pay taxes anyway? and anyone that thinks the road and fuel tax goes mainly in to the road and transport infrastructure can think again in this country at least, the majority of the tax goes in to a welfare black hole, but thats another story

Nevermind about efficiency. That's a whole other issue... Watts are Amps x volts. So under full load, you're pulling peak 80V x 45A = 3600 watts. That's at any given moment. I don't even know the formula for watt hours per mile. Since I prefer not to do division in my head while riding (let alone look at the CA!), I ride with the Volts, Amps, Miles/Ah display...
Nice pump, Greg I don't think you want it on the front fork. Isn't there some way to get it inside that new case and keep it looking new! I bought the same pump when I had all of those pinch flats running those narrow rims and jumping curbs last summer when I started going home on Mass. Ave. The high volume tires we run take forever to pump up with standard frame pumps; gotta have the high volume pumps made for big MTB tires. With the small pump I would not take the time to pump up to 40 psi leaving myself open to another pinch flat before I got home

I keep mine in my rack bag. It really is too long for the bag, stretching it a bit. Most mornings it nestles between a big U lock and my coffee thermos with my clothes in a shopping bag on top. The big rack bag is filled and my dress shirt and pants are slightly wrinkled

A horns a good call for certain situations, tho I always assume they don't see me, and almost prefer that way, except when I have to stop and they're behind me! I used to have the bell which was cute and nice for peds but that broke a year ago w/ my fall and can't afford to replace it. Imagine blowing that horn on the sidewalk...
