Don't know the environment (nurture) that everyone here was raised in. I remember how South Texas was and mostly still is, racist comments were normal. Growing up around this one knows no different unless by chance leaves the area and finds out how different it can be.

Biden reminds me of my Uncle in his mid Eighties. He think's he is not a racist, is/was a hard worker, went to Church, raised his children, retired from a union, Democrat, no drugs or alcoholism. Can not get along with most if not all of his grandchildren and will not see any of them the rest of his life. He was raised in Texas and is like Biden, it is hard to rid one's self of 50-80 yrs of conditioning.

Uncle had three Children and took in a homeless boy and raised him as well (3 boys and a Girl). His oldest son (decease) had one child a girl. She is a lesbian and my uncle can not get past that. His daughter had one child a boy and now has married a black woman. He can not get past that and they don't talk now. He youngest son has three children but are still at home.

Biden knows his conditioning is an issue and tries to change, Trump just doubles down.

The older generations will need to die off before most of the Country will be able to change. including my generation which is most of you. We will leave the earth in better hands.
