Hi I just bought a set of these for my E-bike. It is a DS bike but I use it mostly for commuting. They appear to be in great condition.

While the ride is pretty smooth, (big improvement from my XC suntour) sometimes I find they can still be very harsh eg.. if the front wheel drops off a curb the wrong way it doesnt give at all and sends vibrations right through me, or even at high speed over tiles it can bob up and down a bit.

I realize there is a lot I can do by the way I ride but just wondering whether there is anything I can do to set them up better for commuting. Possibly the front 26 and rear 24 is an issue since I dont really get too much weight up front when I'm riding normally ?

Firstly I have backed off the springs from the top. They do compress almost 1/3 the way when I lean forward over the handle bars and do not bottom out over bumps. I have tried to adjust the rebound on the bottom but it was very tight and would not budge, I used a small spanner without too much force but now it can turn either way but does not seem to make any difference.

My best comfort is by reducing air pressure in my tyres down to 20-25psi but this still doesn't help all the time.
