but it looks almost impossible to ride. They're probably pro skaters and they can barely go straight. It looks like trying to stand up on the Slip And Slide. I guess people love the idea so much Lexus will build a whole skate park that has a "metallic surface". What is that? The video is dubbed but it supposedly screeches really loudly. Just seems a misdirection to me. Such an inefficient way to get anywhere and if you can stand long enough to get there. Battery last minutes. Looks like if he jumps it will hit the ground. Don't want to be the constant naysayer but this thing is a super expensive misapplication of tech at this point...to me.

It does look like he is able to turn in the video at one point. I didn't think that was possible.

Its on a special track. It can't go off the track that's what makes it so hard to ride because imagine no steering to keep your balance...

For god's sake is it so complicated to make a proper control system for hoverboards? Either I'm a genius OR (and this is 80% more probable) these guys are so focused on the complicated layout they had to come with that they can't think "simple"?

I admire what Hendo, Lexus and other guys are doing but there is no point in making a hoverboard if it doesn't obey to your movements

If I had money to throw by the window I'd give a shot. Whatever, let's cheer the guys up they will figure it by themselves. GO!

Well be it 2.0 or not they didn't figure any way to make it usable in the end :| Still the same stuff. Well, at least it looks cool.

I'm amazed at how much money might be spent to make this uncontrolable thing while I ache my head to fund "simple" electric inlines.
