Here is my nearly completed cruiser trike

A really quick couple of minutes perusal of a search on RSP 1000 Current finds this

that describes a couple of resistors that are used to sense current, so if you were to increase the resistance there, it would decrease the current.

I looked at that thread, it wasn't very specific. I get the general idea, so I will do a little more research and try to break it down to a level I can work with. What I have read, is that you can't reduce amperage and maintain voltage. Is that wrong? Like I said, I Am not adept at electronics. Otherwise I would have dialed the amperage down while maintaining the voltage. The power supply has a dash pot to adjust voltage but nothing for amperage. Where would you solder a resister in to reduce amperage? I'd like to try but I don't want to destroy the power supply. The thread wasn't specific enough for me to try anything.
