Hill Climbing Motors

Theoritically possible, my C-408 @ 48v, 26" wheel, using a 25ah controller will almost take on a 5% hill. It does slow to 19mph when the torque kicks in a bit more. It'll hold 5+ minutes with modest pedal assist when the Lith-ion battery is up, if battery is low it seems to heat the controller more and kicks off

True enough about the noise level. When I'm flying all I can hear is the holes in my helmet whistling.

Thanks again guys for all the replies - they have been very helpful.

If I did go for the motor in the link I posted above, which controller would I need to buy to get it working at 48V, 30-35A? I would like the extra voltage just incase I need it, or am feeling particularly lazy and dont want to add any pedal power.
