didnt even see him...he came from a path angling in behind me... his board went under my boom[i was riding my trike] and he went over the top..if i had been riding my two wheel woody, i would have gone down with him and been squashed between my bike and the pavement...i was lucky i didnt get hurt , but, his face..WOWS!!! and one forearm...looked he hit the pavement flat on his face...i think he was texting or something..a cellphone fell out of his hand...from the amount of blood and skin he left on that trail,he could have been charged with littering... i felt sorry for him :(

A few years ago I saw a skateboarder try to zip between some parked vehicles. He went from a hard surface to soft mushy one and the board just stopped. Result was a face plant into the side of a truck - 30 vehicles there and he plants into MY truck. I could only watch from where I was but he got up after a minute or 2 and staggered off with board in one hand and other hand over his mouth. My truck still bears the scars deep into the paint. Other car was hurt worse with a dented door. I guess that was on the rebound.

Well it is ironic that your last post which was about Zombies texting and being oblivious to the world leads into this.

Hi kriskros! So... That device on your trike is called a "boom" why?
Hehe...

Hehe... Well sailors know that on a sailboat a "boom" is where yer head might go "splash" or "splat" if ya connect with such a thing... Just curious!

yes ,i do...but i only owned stink pots, not blow motors ... my favorite was a 32' Chris "Connie "with twin 283s:mrgreen:

Sorry, correction... It is actually a harbour pier or a wharf that goes "crack" or "crunch" when hit... Though might be applicable to a "boom" also...
