Honeywell SS411A working?

I purchased the honeywell SS411A and am testing my wiring harness but I can only see the hall sensor changing from .000 to .005v.

Here are the ones I bought:

What gives? I am touching them to my turnigy 80-100 magnets with a 5v supply.

you need a resistor or some sort of load to keep them triggered for a reading.
