I'm trying to get the pulley off my davinci drive because I need more rpms for a boat motor. I took all the set screws out of course. I can get it to move a bit but I'm afraid I'm going to wreak my very expensive motor forcing it off. It's to the point where I may have wreak the pulley and I will probably just cut it off, but I might be able to save it. I feel bad wreaking such nice custom work

Safest way to remove a gear or pulley is with a three jaw "gear puller". Two jaws are okay but threes better.

Or make your own as seen here.

It should come off pretty easily once you have removed the set screws. Are you sure you didn't miss one?

Try holding the pulley in your hand with the motor suspended below and tapping the driveshaft out with something plastic or aluminum. Don't use anything hard or you will damage the driveshaft.
