I just realized I don't have much space to fit a bolt in it.
Does anyone know what the diameter of the nut is?

Guess I'm returning my bike, I can't screw the needed nut in that tiny space

Can't say without knowing which hubmotor it is. Mine are similar to simple auto wheel lugnut bolts. In fact, I connected a trailer to the axle using one from my old Volvo.

That is one of the problems with a frou-frou frame. Sometimes the "fancy" design features are counterproductive for us.

I have this hub kit :

Thanx btw.

All decathlon mtb bikes have this frame, I always thought decathlon bikes were a good choice for hub conversion kits.

I don't think there's enough room for a nut, or a wrench to tighten it. Usually you'd want to slightly deepen the dropout to fit the larger diameter axle correctly, but then there would be even less room.

I could dremel and take away some aluminum, but it would weaken that critical point.

Return it is the best solution, and buy me an other bike...

Just returned my bike, decathlon gave me back the full price.

Mods you can close this topic.

People, dont buy a decathlon for hub conversion, all them new frames have no place for a bolt !
