Hi,

can somebody help me to find a charger to charge my 18s2P LiPo pack? Have ordered a 18s-BMS from Bestech and now iam looking for a (Bulk?)-charger... tips?

Thanks
Mic

you will want final voltage to be 75.6V which you can set yourself if you wish. a 20S lifepo4 charger is gonna be around 73V so that would be the size to choose. if the source doesn't have the ability to set the final voltage then we can walk you through how to do it. BMS battery sells the EMC battery chargers and greentime does also and there are lotsa sources on alibaba. you wanna have a charger that goes into the balancing current mode at the end so the BMS will be able to balance the pack.

yep. that is good charger but if you look at the EMC-1000 to see what the price is you may wanna consider it because the purchase price from BMS battery is the smallest part. shipping will double the price usually.

it is too bad there is no surface transport from china to europe overland on the railroads to keep the cost of shipping down. how long will it take the russians to catch up to the 20th century? if it went by rail it would cost $6 for shipping. rant over.

but the 600 is better than the 400 by a long way too. it has that switch to turn off the charger, next to the plug.

the EMC-1000 uses IGBTs insulated gate bipolar transistors for the switching transistors and they survive the workload better than the npn switching transistors in the smaller models.

the smaller chargers with the npn switchers usually burn them up after awhile. the 600W version has a larger npn transistor so it can handle the current a little better but the 1000 is worth the little extra money plus you get 11A of charging current.
