That BBSHD controller will blow at 60 amps. The thing that stresses the side cover is the leverage of running a 7 speed freewheel on the 14t cog a 5 speed places the cogs closer to the side cover lessing the leverage a 60 t chainring allows you to use the cogs even closer to the cover taking even more leverage away.
