I'd like to see this badge in some gold leaf under clear-coat and pin striping on the welds
haha yeah but ironically everything on this bike isn't cheap!

sorry man I didn't realize it was that bad.
It's not really a big deal, 90% of the time I'm fine it's only when I push myself to the point where you'd normally start to lightly puff that I rapidly tend to fall in a heap. I was never what you'd call an athlete so it's not like I'm devestated I can't got for a 10km run or play football or what ever (I used to play soccer and oztag socially but it's not something I'm upset I can't do any more) The only thing physically I can't do that I'd really want to is go out in a decent surf. Ah well, it'll be several years before my kids are old enough that they're able to go out in bigger surf than their old man can. The most annoying thing that affects me daily is my blood pressure, I can't get bend over or change posture quickly without getting dizzy. Like if I drop something and bend over to pick it up I stand back up and the room is spinning. It's annoying when working on bikes, you dont realise how much time you spend with your head down. I've partly gotten around that now though with a hoist from my ceiling so I raise my bikes high when I'm working on them. Of course I still drop tools all the time, I just have to remember to try and squat like a lady :lol: (shut up Aussie Jester

)
its scientifically proven that more can be gained by doing less times per week a session of short , high intensity intervals(eg run 100m then walk a lap of oval x 10) , rather than a steady pace for longer period almost every day (eg jogging 5km every day).
Cool, I didnt know that. That's pretty much what my ride home is like, bursts of higher level work up hills where my legs start to burn and then back to just normal pedalling.
Today I managed 169whr for the 16km commute - which is 10.5wh/hr, so 10 is definately attainable with a bit more training. I was pedalling my ring off though (chainring and otherwise :lol: ) and it sucked in the warm weathing wearing my big heavy armoured motorcycle jacket. I might have to start ditching that if I'm going to be cruising along slower in the summer. I'm working harder than I'd have expected to maintain speed on the flat (with no power at all) so I'm going to try pumping my tyres up harder - I have them running fairly low PSI because I wanted a comfier ride but with my 2" wide rims the crazy bobs are pretty fat
for god sake dont faint and roll the mower back over you, shit!
Yeah that could end in tears! I usually get warning, I can feel the blood draining out of my head as I start to get dizzy and usually have time to grab someone or something until I stability. Out on the lawn though I had nothing so killed the mower straight away then just kinda crumpled down as it rolled out from under me. haha. There's a silver lining though now, my wife insists on mowing the lawns
You know the funny thing ? You've heard of the fight or flight response where the body responds to sudden danger or shock or what ever with a raise in blood pressure and heart rate ? That sympathetic nervous system response in me is all buggered up now because the nerves to the heart that cause that response were fried by my radiotherapy (tumor was right on top of my heart). The normal response to a situation like that is the body releases adrenelin and the blood vessels dilate to send a higher flow of blood to the muscles for rapid action if required (ie fight or flight) In my case this happens but my heart rate and blood pressure doesnt go up with it so suddenly all the vessels dialate but my heart doesnt pump any harder and so all the blood essentially drains out of my head. I was never a jumpy person before and I'm still not now but if there's sudden loud noise or something I pretty much get dizzy and fall over. Totally involuntarily, what a pain in the arse! :lol:
Like a fainting goat! (without the muscle tensing bit)
(Sam you didn't realise you were onto something with the goats thing. haha)
My wife dropped a glass the other night and screamed as it hit the floor and smashed. My heart instantly went nuts beating out of my chest, then I slid down the wall and had to sit there on the floor for a few minutes before I could get up.

SPIRULINA CURE can help you decrease your need in animal protein and slow sugar
Sounds terrible, I live for animal protein and sugar

Are you going to convert a Sachs Madass?
Probably, though I'm still tossing around the idea of converting a better bike to start with - something like a CBR125r
I'll ride it in stock form until I get my Ps before I do the conversion so dont want something too crap (which I suspect the stock madass may be)
