OK folks I just asked aa bunch of questions in the Battery thread but I gotta tell you there may be better chargers out there for 12-14S.
I have had two in the last 11 months ( one replace under warrantee by the good folks at AllERc). but no luck! I have an Agniusm 6S kit x 2 with 20 ah A123 cells and it wil not charge one of the 6S batteries. The first one lasted 10 months and did fine but then gave error messages and would not charge one of the packs using the balance cables. Connectivity was tested on the cables with a VOM and Celllogs and it was fine. I bought another charger (Thunder1220( and it charges fine in both charge and balance mode as well as D/CD mode. I do have a thread in the Batteries area but just want to let you know there are better chargers out there, and cheaper too for 12 S systems. This is a "Beware" signall only. Please check on Google for the problems this charger has on the R/C forums with "battery connect error" problens. I think AllERC perhaps was a good company but they are returning my charger saying it is "OK". It is definitely not OK.

Yes I agree when I was into RC hobby I had some Hyperion chargers.
They just died within some time...

Also the price is very high....compare to other chargers.
Then I switched to PL8 charger, wooow that was a good choice.
After I divorced RC hobby and married with Ebike virus

Hey MP3Focus I just saw this. Mine is being returned to my by the dealer (AllER/C) who says it works perfectly with his tests and batteries! Now that is strange customer service (not). It does not charge my A123 battery in either Charge or bulk charge mode. That doesn't sound "perfect" to me. I have other chargers, luckily, so I can both bulk charge and balance charge without the Hyperion. The Thunder 1220 works every time all the time.

Needless to say Hyperion and AllEr/c are on my "not recommended list".

Mines still working fine after more than 2 years. I did have to replace a couple of transistors in it, but I blew them myself.

First I blew one up myself when networkign them.. had it replaced under warranty. Then on one of my two 1420is I did reverse polarity and blew some fets. Then one day I was discharging a big pack for 6 hours with the other surviving chargers.. one of the fets wasn't making good heatsink contact and overheated. I replaced all the shorted fets in both chargers for $30 and 3 hours labor and both work fine. Don't throw away your broken hyperions.. send them to me.

I had to replace 2 1Y bleed transistors in mine. But I blew them up myself.

i remembered that. i think these are used in the controllers too, but this is what is used for the shunt transistor on the icharger i have here:
