I just received the BC168 charger.
I am shocked.
I guess I did a mistake ordering it:
(This charger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-AofMzs0ds)
The manu is very strange.....
A:
The buttons.
1. cancel / menu 2. balance 3. discharge 4. charge
When I press button 2-4 it starts with the function labeled on the button instantly.
If I want to change any settings I will need to press button 1 and cycle through all the 12 settings (charge/discharge/balance voltage/input voltage alarm...... options.
Imagine you charge up two different lipos. Every lipo needs to be configured in the 11 settings menu, even if I just want to change one setting (charging current).
B:
The display is perfect from a certain angle and barely readable in sunlight or from a top angle (BC168 standing up on a table and I am standing in front of it).
C:
When I set the charger to 4.15V. My voltage meassure cheap device ($5) tells me 4.13V for all of the 6 cells of my 6S lipo.
Maybe a security feature or just my voltage reader is not exact enough...I don't think that:
-----
After 10min I checked with my ELRO M300 multimeter.
DCV:0-2±0.5%-20-200-500V±0.8%
ACV:0-200-500V±1.2%
DCA:0-200mA±2.0%
R:0-2k-20k-200k-2Mohm±1.0%
Audible continuity: <50ohm
Diode test
Battery: 9-12Vx1, GP23A
------
D:
Also: As soon as the charger is finished it beeps...but keeps on going. It doesn't stop.
I've asked so many people, but all did like this charger so much.
So am I the only guy having a problem with this menu + display?
