I'm testing Varstrom's after-sales service and so far it's a disaster

Hello everyone.

I bought a Varstrom TSDZ8 at the beginning of the year, and the internal controller has already failed. Apparently, the warranties aren't being honored although I received two responses from customer service initially, I haven't heard back in days despite my follow-ups.

Has anyone else here had experience with their warranty service? For my next motor, should I perhaps consider a Bafang? Is their service better?

They also have a chat on their website. I haven't received a response. So yes, you're right, I'll try their email too.

I've emailed them a couple times since receiving my kit with queries and never heard a peep back. They also emailed out a message to say delivery was delayed with a whole bunch of other people's email addresses in the clear. I'd treat them as not having customer service or warranty.

Average ebike company support experience honestly.
Also bike companies get flooded during the spring with work, they may literally ignore a large % of their email.

Luckily you can buy a replacement part!

Thought i'd just add, did get everything sorted with Varstrom in the end. A complete pain to deal with, everything takes ages, they sent me a smaller battery at first, etc... but did resolve in the end. Think i had to threaten doing a chargeback.
