Hi,
This is my first post on the forum, and I'm not a technical person.

I am experiencing an issue with my Dahon Unio E20 bike. Today, while riding, I encountered something unusual for the first time. The pedals started spinning on their own, even though I was not pedaling. I tried to physically stop the pedaling, which I managed to do after a moment, but the issue occurred again two more times.
After this, the motor assistance began to cut out and eventually disappeared almost completely. I also noticed that after losing assistance, the pedals became difficult to rotate (forward and backward).

I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

Mid drive motors usually have a clutch inside that allows the cranks to stop while the motor is still providing assistance. It sounds like the clutch may be sticking or need replacement, but there could be other stuff happening in addition to just the clutch with the power dropping like you described.
I'm not sure how much help you'll find on the forum for a proprietary mid drive motor, but if you're willing to disassemble stuff and post a lot of pics, some folks may be able to provide some help. Is it outside of warranty?
