Issues setting up CA3 with a torque

I just purchased a complete system from ebikes.ca .....
- eZee front fast wind L10
- Fichler AG Torque Sensing BB
- V6 Baserunner_10
- thumb Throttle

I setup the system without the torque sensor (did not have tool to do the work and could not get into a LBS). I really enjoyed the setup on my new trike. I finally was able to coordinate with my LBS to switch the BB to the torque sensor. My issue is now, after following the CA3 user manual, everything seems to be messed up.

My CA3 reads data coming from the torque sensor (in setup mode) but when I apply torque, no power is applied after exiting set. First image below is the CA3 display #3 which shows no inputs.

Second image is in setup mode as well as 3rd image.

Since I had issues with the setup after following the CA3 user manual, I have played around with some settings and solved some of the issues (one being throttle engagement) but i still seem to have no power when adding torque to the pedals. There is another troubling issue that seems to have come up ..... now when manually moving the trike backwards, the hub motor stutters.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks, Tom

Just making sure you’re applying torque to the right/drive side crank since that sensor only works off the one side. A few of the torque sensors do that (but at least yours is on the right, for folks that start off from a stop with the right leg). Sensors like the ERider work off of either crank.

I did go for a ride yesterday and there was not any assist from the torque sensor. I am not sure what settings I have messed up. I still have the front hub wheel "stutter" when the trike is rolled backwards

Thanks, Tom
