Powering this would kill the small cable drive in no time, even with pedal power alone it does not last.
 
That big helical gear might be nice for some of the left hand drive folks out there.
 
Chrylser/Jeep has nothing to do with the "Jeep" brand of Bicycles[Same thing with the Kawasaki Brand bicycles].

This model was designed by Steve Christini and first released with much higher grade components in 2003. It earned rave reviews in MBTR(the highest I have ever seen for any model bike). It uses shafts, not a cable to transfer power and employs some sort of "limited-slip clutch" to engage the frt. wheel.
None the less, if appears to have only been offered only one year and the lower quality seems to be dis-continued as well, leading one to wonder if they wasn't some sort of problem.

There is a "lightly-used" Jeep model[but listed as a Christini]in the Wash. DC Craigslist for $650.
