Chrylser/Jeep has nothing to do with the "Jeep" brand of Bicycles[Same thing with the Kawasaki Brand bicycles].
This model was designed by Steve Christini and first released with much higher grade components in 2003. It earned rave reviews in MBTR(the highest I have ever seen for any model bike). It uses shafts, not a cable to transfer power and employs some sort of "limited-slip clutch" to engage the frt. wheel.
None the less, if appears to have only been offered only one year and the lower quality seems to be dis-continued as well, leading one to wonder if they wasn't some sort of problem.
There is a "lightly-used" Jeep model[but listed as a Christini]in the Wash. DC Craigslist for $650.
