Kelly KEB auto_identify - How do I know it was successful? ?

I know this may sound stupid.

I use the software and set the auto_identify,
Cycle the controller, off/on, the motor twitches for a couple of seconds
Then what?

I see with other controllers you open up the software and see changes and save them. The KEB software is different.
Every time I cycle the controller the motor twitches and the light goes green.
Is that it? or is there some save procedure I am missing.

The motor runs, I'm just not sure if it has the correct hall angle or not.

I have owned four KEB models of varying power. None of them had any " Auto -Identify" feature nor was is there any reference to "auto identify" in any of the KEB configurations. Perhaps you are trying to connect with the wrong program.

KEB does not have an " auto identify " feature. You are required to find the correct combination of halls and phase lines yourself from the possible 36 combination sets.

Thank you for your reply. All help is appreciated.
I maybe looking at the wrong thing then. The software says KBL/KEB in the corner and on the forth screen I found an auto_identify under the smooth settings, but maybe it is just for the smooth. It does do the twitch thing with the motor. Currently I do not think the settings are correct because the motor seems to run OK, but gets very hot very fast. I'm not sure what to try next.

I'll go hook up mine and see what I can see. Yeah I never did any auto identify when I set mine up Hold on I'll check mine out and post what I see...

The controller worked straight out of the box. I bought the Kelly KEB testing control box. During simple bench testing I never hooked up the computer and software because it just worked. I didn't check settings until I started field testing under heavy load and the Blue, Green, Yellow motor wires starting getting melty hot with in minutes.
