Noise DD

tried to do something in the Kelly controller settings.

Turned on the noise reduction function. (Nothing changed)

Changed the angle of the hall sensors 60 or 120 degrees. (Nothing changed)

Ran auto-identification several times. (Nothing changed)

Ignore the whistling sound from the brake disc.
Kelly firmware don't have Phase Shift Hall support in Hall mode. Have in any other modes(Resolvers/Encoders). Modification of firmware is needed. This is real.
More probably your motor have factory Shift of Hall sensors.

Problem with my Votol EM50-4 identified. Found a break the yellow hall wire in a small section of the harness with a Higo connector.

Hall's error with the Kelly controller was due to the same reason.
Now I need time to assemble everything

The Noname controller worked without noise and knocking because it has the function of working without hall sensors.

The motor works fine. But with another noname controller.
Problem with Votol controller.
Cool, any more feedback on the performance? Comparison to your other motors? Seems like a good deal if it can handle higher power up to 3000w for short periods

Noname controller it's not my new Votol. I don't used Votol at all. only try to adjust.
Noname controller just worked in non-hall mode.

Now we can draw a brief conclusion.
DD Suringmax motor and Votol controller works pretty quiet. The hub MAC 8T and squad Kelly controller were louder(With whole wires🤭). Now acceleration is very smooth. And little bit faster.

But overall there is no difference at all.
Total speed the same.
I don’t use regeneration yet, so even when I release the throttle I can freely coast like with hub motor.
