Kelly KLS pedel high error

I have a KLS7230N with a mxus 3k turbo 4T and I am trying to use the risunmotor throttle.
Unfortunately I do not have a multi meter to test the voltages.
So after connecting my throttle to the controller and powering it on I got a pedel-high error, over the course of hours I tried many different TPS low high and deadzone setting none of which seemed to make a difference. At one point I might have had it so there is no error until I twist the throttle.

The pedel section in the monitor page shows 153 with no input and 255 at around 60% throttle and doesnt go any higher.
NOTHING I did changed this. Not the TPS modes, not the deadzones, nothing.

The controller beeped either error 2-4 or 3-3 depending on the settings. I was sometimes fully cutting the power to the controller and then turning it back on as the manual said something about that and the throttle errors.
On TPS mode 3 there is no error but the throttle doesn't respond and also when changing it back to mode 2 the motor quite scarily jumps to life as it bypasses the invalid throttle range check at bootup presumably at 153/255 (60%) throttle.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you try mode 1?

Better to get multimeter and check voltage. Also you can try insert around 5k resistor in in the signal wire.

Reverify throttle pin out to controller pin connections... What throttle model do you have?
