After over 2 years of hard throttle only ebike commuting, it's time to retire my original battery. I will be purchasing a new pack for my daily commute ebike, but would like to re-purpose my original pack which has plenty of life left.

Goals are #1 portability, #2 reliability, #3 ease of adapting my battery pack (I'm not interested in ripping out the individual cells, more trouble than it's worth).

My initial searches on re-purposed shark packs haven't turned up much.

I'm looking for suggestions on a good base to start a stand-up scooter build given my shark pack limitation. I have access to fabrication, but would prefer to order/adapt an existing build or kit.

Any suggestions on options to look at? My pack is a "52v" 14s4p configuration.

I'd guess your best bet given the size of those packs is to put it in a backpack with a coily cable to the scooter, with a fairly easy-to-come-undone plug like Anderson PP45s, so you don't damage the cable if you have to step off it and end up with it farther away from you than the cable would allow.

Doing that, you could use just about any scooter taht will run off that pack's voltage and remaining current delivery ability.
