'lightest.bike' 1.7kg 1000w mid drive

^--this guy will get to a build sooner than me, FYI

When y'all receive them, are you gonna carry your bikes in the back of your Cybertrucks?

I'm gonna carry mine in the back of my Cybertruck, loaded on the flatbed of my Tesla semi, loaded on a rail flatbed pulled by the yet-to-be-announced-Tesla-railway-engine!
Destination? Space-X of course! so I can launch the whole darned thing into space!

I am also waiting for mine since 04/2020…

I received a shipping notification today :bigthumb:

Cool. I hope to see some installs and road test results here soon. Depending on how they turn out I might have a hard look at one of these for my gravel/road bike, now that I have canceled my second Photon order. Although I still may get another Photon if and once my issues with the first one are satisfactorily resolved. We'll see. And I am Italian descent. :)

I'm definitely gonna be behind the curve because i want to fit it to 1 of 3 semi-recumbent bikes and i may have the wrong parts from the get go / who knows about how this will fit!

Looking forward to seeing what others build ^_^

Damn... Hopefully cheburator and stephan above will be installing them on real bikes! ;)

Seems similar to Photon installation. Motor goes on, then BB axle gets inserted and secured. Hopefully you have or can access their detailed instructions for the proper sequence of steps and parts.
The kit is for my Turner Burner 27.5 with 73mm threaded BB.

The BB assembly came in separate parts, so now I have to figure out how to put it together correctly :)

So, I have spent half a day trying to install this creation. Without luck, unfortunately. Here are the reasons:

1. I can not even turn it on to check if it is alive and play with settings. Why? Because I have not received a tiny power connector! And response from Bikee is hilarious.

This thing retails fot less then 2$. Have Bikee decided to maximise their profit by such decision? I really doubt this is reasonable.
BTW, abeugabeluga have received it, judging from the photo.
Also in this letter I informed them, that safety rubber is also missing. According to manual(page 33), it should be placed between frame and motor. They completely ignored it. Well, I will have to make it myself from old tube.

2. As I mentioned earlier, the BB assembly came in separate parts. There are 4 bearings, 2 caps, 2 rings - spacers and axle. No instructions how to put it together and no markings, what is for left side and what for right. In the manual there are some info about square BB, but it looks diferent.

I had to use bearing press to install bearing to right cap, others went in by hand. If I install 3 bearings, axle moves about 5mm. If all 4, I can not tighten caps. Which is no surprise since bearings are 7mm. The rings are 4mm and are too small for the axle. I can try to heat and press by force, but do not want to do it before I get clear instructions from Bikee.

3. When I made the order, there were only 2 options for mounts - short and long. I ordered both. Now they have more variants.
Today I tried to install the short one, bit since the down tube is slightly bent, it did not fit. I changed chainring from 36T to 32T, but it did not work too.

I guess the short mount only works with straight down tubes. Will try the long one next time, but first I have to buy another chain to make a really long one. And then contact Bikee, maybe one of their new variants will fit better.

I kind of understand their answer about the connector. Motor makers have no idea what kind of battery connectors users have. As for the rest, I am glad it is you taking one for the team is trying this out. Please keep posting your progress.

The connector is for motor, not battery. No power cable is coming from motor, only tiny socket for this connector.
Sure, I will post how it goes.

My motor should get delivered tomorrow.. Is anyone is using Superhero pack? I wonder if the settings made are stored in the motor so i can setup it once and disconnect the mobile?

I bought kit with superhero, but can not test it untill I get the power connector.
