Controllers can spin a motor whatever direction you want.

Several methods may be available:

Use the reverse wire on the controller you already have if it has one. Usualy you ground this wire to activate reverse.

Use the Learn wire pair to swap default motor direction. Usually you just connect the wire pair once to cause it to spin one way, then disconnect it. If it's the wrong way, do it again.

Change the phase/hall wiring combination to cause it to spin the other way. There are a number of threads about phase hall wiring combinations, brushless motor wiring, etc., that show ways to do this. But the simplest is to simply swap any two phase (or hall) wires, and then begin swapping the hall signal wires (or phase wires if you swapped two halls) until the motor spins correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into this. I happen to talk to a saleman from Electric scooter parts and he wasn't able to help me today.

To help you find a specific controller, we'll need more info.

What motor do you have?

What battery do you have?

What is your exact usage scenario? (terrain, speed, riding style, throttle, PAS, wind, hills, on road / offroad, stop start traffic, open road, range, etc)

Does it need to only run "in reverse", or does it have to be able to change directions?

Those will help us help you make sure you have the right system to do what you want.

It's a Razor Metro scooter. I just ordered a 60v brushless motor. Today a did buy a controller off Amazon that's 48/72V for brushless motors. I'm running 3 - 18V Makita cordless tool battery's and it's been 25mph on flat ground with me 215lbs. I would like to see 30mph after the 60V brushless installed
