Looking for information on POWABYKE bikes

Folks,
I work with a non-profit community bike shop in Memphis , Tn.
We were recently gifted with 5 new old stock and 7 used Powabyke brand Ebikes and am looking for some technical documentation.
I have contacted the MFG but so far have not heard back.
I am wondering if any one on this forum has any experience with this brand and might be able to offer some technical insights.
Most of these bikes are designed for SLA batteries and I am considering replacing these with small <10 Ah 36 v lithium batteries.
Will I need to update the controllers?

Yeah, we got that google thing installed here in Memphis about a year ago.. Still not sure if it's gonna be much use.

I did contact the mfg via electric mail ..but ain't heard back..may I'll send them a telegraph message. 8)
