Light output less than advertised, but still good light output for the price.
Battery issues (1/2 the run time of advertized) and some pages say under recall. (Again maybe likely battery).

[Breaking-news] The page says there are now 5 in stock, but the price has jumped to $99.95! Apparently the Vice President in Charge of Finding Stuff has been canned and his/her successor ran across a few in the back storeroom. Flash: Amazon now simply says "In Stock" at the $99.95 price, they must have found a stack of them in the Janitor's closet. This is nuttier than eBay!

Yes, all true. The light output is still pretty intense for the price though. I have two MJ808 light heads and one battery pack. The battery pack died after about 6 months. I replaced all four 18650s with LiMN Sony/Konion 18650VT cells and it works great. The Sony/Konion cells are self-balancing so should avoid the unbalanced pack dying early problem. Time will tell.
