making q85 work

Recently I bought cute q85 and S-KU63 controller with thumb throttle.
I connected the ku63 to q85 with the round cable. Also connected battery and throttle to the ku63.
But when I press the thumb throttle the motor doesn't spin. I tried to check the voltage on controller 3 phases and it ranges 0 to 15v when I press the throttle. Did I miss something? Can someone help please

Do you have the LED control panel connected to the controller to switch it on?

You can't measure the voltage on the motor wires because (a) it's A/C and (b) it's intermittent. If the controller doesn't get feedback from the hall sensors, it stops sending power to the motor.

You can test if it's switched on by measuring between the red and black throttle wires, which should be about 5v.

I do not have LCD screen, is it needed to turn the controller on? I thought only power cables are required to be connected.


I have tested the thumb throttle input voltage it is 4v
