Hi all. Thought I'd share some pictures of the upgrades / modifications I've done to my me1616 motor. The motor is reassembled and seems to be running very well. I've yet to put a load test on it as I'm still in the build process of my Harley Conversion.
1.) Disassembled and varnished rotor and windings.
2.) Separated windings and added dedicated phase leads to each set
3.) Upgraded bearings to Timkin
4.) Moved sensor wires to outside of case.
5.) Replaced sin/cos position sensor with custom magnet ring, sensor mount and position sensor used on Suron motors.
