MesoGluehas the potential to change e-biking as we know it. Meet the new metallic glue.
Suddenly all of us can make our own battery packs, no spot welding or soldering needed. Or what about even more efficient controllers running cooler?
Needing bigger surface area on your electric motor? UseMesoGlue, the new metallic glue.

What I most want to know is...a dab the size of a dime connecting a nickel bus strip to an 18650 cell-end...how much current can it carry without getting warm?

This could eliminate the need to buy a spot-welder for a DIY pack, but...I guess we will have to wait to see.

This product is not yet readily available to the market. During spring of this year it is rumored to reach the public.
I have not found a white paper or any third party tests of the metallic glue. Lets just keep our fingers crossed for this being the real deal and not "yet another vapor ware".

Could it possible be used for controllers? Should shave of some of the manpower usage for building a controller.
But most excited news is for the DIY crowd. Maybe we can make our own battery packs simply by gluing together those 18650's?

Or what about adding long strips of fins between the hubmotor flanges? Just glue it to the surface, easy peasy.

I know I've mentioned conductive adhesives on these boards before. Not an expert, but the epoxies can be dropping below freezing without becoming brittle and get well over boiling without melting and the relative conductivity holding up.

You can find a lot of information online.

@Dauntless think the adhesive will be up for the task of making 18650 battery packs?

If enough people contact them and ask for a sooner release date, perhaps they would make it available sooner ?

Who are they ? ( website )

I am game, lets start sending emails. Maybe if we are lucky we can get a trial run, RC 1 or final beta version?

There website is here http://mesoglue.com/index.php/products/
They say don't have any retail products available yet.
It all looks pretty good though everything seems recent, I hate it when somtimes you see this stuff and then notice the youtube video was posted like in 2006 so you know its not going anywhere, but this is not the case all the dates are only over the last few months.

One thing to note is they say their nano glue technology only really works with pressure, so it looks like will work well with a nickle strip across 18650 cells with flat terminals, but less likely to implement on dropping a electrical components pins into a pcb and having it link up like solder does, well it seems like this is the case anyway..

Buying a spot welder has always been a huge barrier to the DIY 18650 battery pack.
