 So when I'm there in Adelaide next month there'll be a hole in the ground where that pole used to be ?
LOL
yeahs she's a bigun. I was like "um wtf?" I think she was going for a human flag. I'm going to a berlesqu show in a couple weeks. i think those two may be performing in it. its all sold out so im assuming it'll be good.

also i saw a guy running a h40xx on a hard tail, i almost ran into him cos he went through a bus only bit and i usually check for busses and thats it. he wasnt flying but i was suprised... obviously i had to fly up behind him and overtake giving a thumbs up. he didnt seem impressed or talkative so i left him alone, although he had a quick look at my bike.

and my sig. yeah some idiot at work today, "does it charge the light while you ride?" ... nah mate.
energy has to come from somewhere. hes a chocolate co. sales rep so yeah.. hes allright.

Did you notice if he had the battery in a tidy looking enclosure ? I did a kit for a bloke there a while back and he made sweet enclosure from recycled car bumpers. Painted up it looked totally pro.

it did look very tidy. from what a saw (and i had a goodish look) it was side covers over the triangle.

i ran into some guys on fat bikes that got 5 punctures riding through 3 corner jacks on there way to "findon skid kids" cycle speedway. and while i chated with them my LBS guy rocked up with some crazy tall bikes and more fat bikes. he said he build a wheel for a guy recently with a simalar motor to mine (h40?) seeing it was near my house I though maby this was the guy. i guess there are a few around. i dont see many ebikers though. must be hundereds of normal bikes to 1 ebike . and thats the second crystalyte ebike ive ever seen other than dunkens stealth, and my bikes.

It's the eight legged beast with two backs!
I see Adelaide has become quite progressive lately.

We are talking heavy duty! These girls could all be used for Jay's battery analogy. Somewhere between between the SLA and Lifepo4 low C rate, maybe Nickle cadmium?

I'd forgotten the battery analogy. Priceless.

Ha, you all knock NiCads. But sometimes late at night when your everyday ride is over at someone else's house, you just need something to call upon and dump a few amps into the rear hub then slink away in self loathing.
You know what I mean.

Yes Hyena's battery analogy is the basis for...well....comparing batteries and women's usefull out put, or putout  Hyena, give us an update!!!!

I dunno man, you have to be hard up for thrills. All that sag, and if you're talking SLA all the weight in the back makes for a pretty loose ride...

Haha Rix you want the 2014 version ? Lemme find some spare time to do it justice.
He have a few new players in the game now and old 2C lifepo4 is starting to look like the soccer mum who used to be popular back in the day but is now struggling for attention.

The burlesque show was pretty good. Gf said she was too sober to enjoy it. Oh well.

Anyway I hit up the city skate park after a few beers, Idecided to ride up some sstairs. A had a stack on a transition . the overall carnage was bent chain ring, dented rear rim, dent in suspension fork (the shinny bit).
Poor bike . I don'tthink iI'll do that again its not worth it. I need a bmx.
Anyway its still ridable. Gf and i Went to glenelg and back with the 2 ebikes. I might try and hammer out the dent on the rim. Its a bit egged. 2x4 wood block and sledge hammer. Its just too shakey/bummpy to not fix it. The tyre is about 10mm in on the dented bit.

Anyone know what will happen with my dented fork suspension? I'm guessing keep it clean, but its life span is now shorter.

Lolz, never learn, haha, page 9 of this thread was your last skate park disaster :D

That ended with a bent chain ring to. ROFL.

No video again, spewing,

In future all ebike riding after a few brews must be videoed

Impressed the old goose is still standing up to daily use

It's about time you built your new frame though

Yeah deffx. She's still going. Had a ride today. It seems like the egg shaped rear wheel is circular enough to not notice now.
I might still replace the rim soon. The scott is due for new spokes and rim. Its got one broken spoke. The shitty Chinese crystalyte ones that is.The p35 rim is dinged up but goes well. Too manygutter jumps with low tube pressure. I generally run high pressure in rear and medium in front these days. I'm looking at the Kris uni cycle freestyle rim it comes in 29" 36h 49mm wide.
Yeah I need a new phone battery then I will do more vids.

haha, the kid never learns :p

Bummer about the stack. Don't drink and ride skate bowls!
I rode past the local one on the weekend and it was packed with kids all gawking as I went past. I was tempted to do a quick lap but I knew trying to chuck my 40kg stealth around would end badly.

As for your fork, if it's dented it'll likely leak oil over time. Unless it's up the top out of the travel area in which case it should be OK, just weakened I guess. You've got 3 weeks to fix it :p

yeah you'll be right mate, i'll try not completely destroy it b4 you come over and borrow it. the dent is right up the top of the travel as you say so im thinking the fork will be okay for a few years. might get a shock cover for it and help keep shit out of the dent and seals.

and the wheel is god enough, preobably about the same as yours after that recent pinch flat walk home incodent you had.

im going to make a bash guard with my old ht3525 side plate. its a couple mm bigger than need be so that will help in future.

still after all that i shouldnt go to crazy with it. cos i ride to work when rain isnt forcast and thats been pretty amazing.

i really ahould save myself some maintenance money and start playing with a bmx.

Actually to ride my bike you'd never even know, it's totally smooth even at 70km/hr.

Definately a wiser move, keep the weight and the electrics out of harms way.

Rode to and from work in the rain because the Ute battery is flat fr not nbeing used for 2 weeks. I have s s opp lar (edit - solar haja( panel on the dash but its parked under a car port. The green led was on when I checked it but apparently not enough light to charge for the consumption of the alarm. It was fine other than getting wet I guess.

The wheel was quite smooth though and I forgot about it with the wet road taking my concentration,
Then I decided it must be OK if I didn't notice any bumpy osculation.

my favourite question. how do you keep up with pedaling at 70 km/h and that gear ratio. Or have you built a motor cycle?

if the "you beaut" battery went flat after 2 weeks, then it was already a goner mate.....
