Motor pulley comes off..

So i have been posting and asking question a lot lately , really appropriate all the help.


But now i have everything connected, and working..finally

I messed up my the keyway while using the dremel, i got a little happy with it and went a little too deep. Im not sure if this is casing me the issues, as the pin in the keyway still catchs the pulley.. The set screw seems to be tight aswell..

Not much details. I can't tell if that could be an ESC issue or a keyway issue.

The esc is wokring fine, thats me be giving gas and letting it go.. My issue is with the pulley on the Motor.

that screeching sound is the mis alignment of the pulleys..


If you look closely at the motor pulley in the video you can see it starting sliding off, which obliviously is not really suppose to happen.

idea.. can i drill through the motor pulley and shaft, then insert a pin that has a tight fit..

read more online, so i think its because the keyway i attempted to make sucks.. looks like ill buy new shaft and get machined keyway made..

try putting the drive kit closer to the wheel hub

You should also be using set screws and flat spots to secure not just the keyway.
