I have an electric bicycle, model: LN20M04-M. (Jiangsu N moto Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd.)

The screen broke, so I bought a KT-LCD7U as it said it was compatible if it had the same controller. (https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005...!&utparam-url=scene:pcOrderDetail|query_from:)

However, when I tried it, the screen turns on but the pedal assist does not work. I have seen something about configuring the P and C parameters. Is that what I need to change? Does anyone know how I can make it work?

here is the manual of the display: https://www.emotoer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/KT-LCD7.pdf

Solution
At minimum you’ll need to set C1 to match your PAS sensor. Hard to tell, but looking at the pics, it appears to be the type with a magnetic disc mounted on the chainring side of the crank. Can’t tell how many magnets, but setting C1 to 5 or 6 should get some response, so start there.

Page 32 in your manual describes how to make a cable to copy the parameters from your old display to the new one. But it is unlikely to work if your old display is broken.

The easiest way is to go through and set up all of the P and C parameters on your new display manually. P1 requires you to know the number of magnets and gear ratio in your motor.

This video is helpful. It is for an LCD03, but the LCD07 is more or less the same as far as the P and C parameters are concerned.

Have you taken a look at the controller to confirm that it is a KT controller? your LCD07 is only compatible with a KT and won’t work with any other brand of controller.

Hi, I went out to test the bike and the assist works, but in assist level 5 it has almost no power and the bike feels heavy. What could that be?
