I have always liked going out and riding bicycle with my girlfriend. The only problem was that she get heat stroke very easily and gets tired out after only about 5-10 min on the bike. So this past Saturday we loaded up the ezip and my mountain bike and headed down to Fort DeSoto park, which has a good biking trail. I wasn't too sure how much she would like it, due to the fact that the ezip motor still accelerates even when the throttle is closed. But I showed her how to hit the off switch with her foot before she needed to come to a stop, and she road up and down the parking lot for a bit to make sure she was comfortable with it. After she was good, we headed out down the bike path. She was all stoked because for once, I was having to work my butt off to keep up with her. Next thing I know, she has her feet propped up on the frame and WOT.  It was really cool being able to go on such a long ride with her. We found one spot where the trail turned off into an off road trail with a sandy terrain. She was a little worried with this, but she had no problem with it and it was really fun. Halfway through the ride the talk turned towards how much power the bike had and how much it could potentially have. She is all into modifying it to boost the power now. 8) Now I just need to get her so comfortable that she is willing to start drag racing them. I mentioned it a long time ago and she thought I was crazy. But I just can't help imagine how fast a bike could go with a tiny girl who is barely over 90lbs compared to with me on it who is about twice her weight. It would take a whole lot of titanium and carbon fiber to loose 90lbs.

Leave her quickly dude, do you have any idea how much time and money she will spend if she gets hooked! (i'd hate to go out with me!) :D

Yeah Jozzer may be right. This could get expensive. Every time you want to upgrade your E-bike, you will have to upgrade her's as well :!:

Yeah totally dude, assist is great for evening up two riders so you both can actually enjoy the ride. I've thought about getitng double or triple tandem to solve this problem, but tandems bring their own problems to the table. Assist can be a better option. Get those out of shape people riding who wouldn't otherwise even go. My ebike got my sis out riding and able to keep up with me on my non-e too!

I know you guys were (mostly? :p) kidding, but I still gotta disagree with the previous two posts. Any girl who is in to what you're in to is more likely a keeper. Budget be damned!

Yeah, money's one thing, but you wait for the "Not tonight dear, you've got to put those new fets in my controller before dawn" :D

It could get ugly. The occasional comment of "You blow your load faster than your bike does".

Nah, I'm a racer through and through. I wouldn't want to spend our money on anything else besides toys. Especially spending it on making toys go FASTER! Besides, she makes more money then I do nowadays so we are spending more of her money on these toys then mine. I know she is a keeper. She doesn't complain when I have a motorcycle torn apart all over the living room, stacks of tools in the kitchen. She got a little bit upset when I put a grease stain on the rug, but then she just shrugged it off. She likes bikes and stuff, so I'm just happy that now we got this part going for her to be more involved with me on it.

Wow, motorcycle parts in the living room forget about it, everything has to stay in the garage. If she weighs only 90lbs then at least you save money on food
