I've got a 22" GT Aggressor with an Amped bikes front geared kit, a 36V 20Ah Lithium ion pack from bmsbattery.com, a really strong rear wheel built by my Uncle, the carrier is the wheel mounted kind that comes with the cheapy kits, an e-bikekit battery bag, and V-rubber road tires. My crank set is an Origin 8 48,38,28 and I'm not sure about the rear cluster. The bike is 21 speed. The kit is the older model Amped kit with the left to right thumb throttle.
I've got the carrier mounted to an extra seat post clamp I placed underneath the normal clamp in between..... well if you look at the picture you'll see what I mean lol. I mounted the legs of the carrier to the sides of the frame using the water bottle mount bolts and two extra seat post clamp bushings I had. The rack doesn't jiggle at all.
With the front kit and the battery on the back, the weight of the bike is really well balanced. The total weight of the bike is around 40 Lbs which allows me to ride it sans motor for more exercise. I've got an on off switch mounted on the handle bar just to the left of the shifter/brake lever on the right side.
