Hey yo hey yo,

It's been a long time since I have been here. And just catching up on all the latest tech. Seems e drives are finally maturing and the public are getting the benefits from this tech. Good stuff.

I have been using my TidalForce bikes and have a new one I love. But my new baby is my Orca. Such a shame they will not be making these amazing machines anymore. Feel I was lucky to get her.

Some pics below :)

It's made by Flevobike in the Netherlands. It is power assist with a 250w motor and I believe the best Velo ever created. But I would say that.

Apart from the motor system it's very Nasa spec and beautifully hand made. It took them nearly a year and a half to build this angel for me.

Happy days mate

Oh my goodness, that probably costs as much as a car!
... but you probably use it instead of a car all the time, huh?
... itll probably pay for itself in gas/repair/etc savings within just a few years, huh?
... its probably all around more practical than a car for short-medium distance trips, huh?
Cheers, man; I wish more people could see the quality of life benefits of velomobiles. It just feels like a lifehack!

Yes it does my friend and as you say, it's a quality of life decision. No car needed for me and it will pay for itself in no time. Can't put a price on smileage :)

My range is around 90 miles. It's super efficient only I wish it had a hub drive as opposed to a mid drive. Each to their own.

Good stuff and take care,

Richard

Someday.. I'll just go ahead and build me a velomobil. Love it

There are few Facebook velomobile groups to help out if you need it. Also, there are some kits for recumbent's.

Good luck!
