My support to the project in promotion

Hey guys! Was kinda interesting to chat with you and get some advices, so...
I was approached by the inventors of electric vehicle and asked for help to remake the current site to draw attention for them and get the first pre-orders. I'm doing advertising a bit and they contacted with me through a friend. However, I could not refuse them, as I liked the project and its team. I want to help them and hope to succeed!

Certainly, there is a lot of inventors and startupers who also promoted or just planning to promote their product without big budgets.

My task: to gather an audience, to ensure dynamic growth of audience and using this to help them find a partner manufacturer or investor.

With this task I decided to apply into your professional community to find successful examples. I want to create a blog site, which will be the place of concentration of people for discussing stuff.
How all this might be interesting, this type of promotion? Do you have any working examples that have helped you in sales? I think it would be very interesting to discuss here, this experience can be interesting to many. In my turn, I would like to lay out the process I'll be working on.

"electric vehicle" contains broad branches. Could you be more specific?

Since Endless Sphere is not about selling things, but about working out ideas, designing things, spreading knowledge, helping people with technical issues, etc., then this is probably not the best place to ask your questions.

Most likely a forum about advertising would be your best bet, but you'll have to look around the web to see if there are any.

The only advertising allowed here is in the Online Market, so you can look at the various for sale posts there. But since we don't allow general advertising and promotion on Endless Sphere, because it isn't what the site is here for, there's not going to be a huge amount of promotion knowledge here. (I'm sure there is some.)

Totally agree with you, Amberwolf! But I think this is exactly the place for asking such questions. I`m not trying to advertise my work or service, I`m trying to understand if that just single case or its a real problem for such engineers, garage guys, so on..
I`ve posted theme about battery sometime ago here and got fast help. So, also trying to dig into this theme a bit, but I`m just a fan.

Answering to @Nobuo, its an electric trike with track inclination and independent rear suspension, weight about 60 kg. Maybe I can get some pictures for better understanding.
Thats I`m trying to reveal - web community and electric stuff.

Would be great to see just some discussion
