I searched for 'basic series lipo packs diagram/s" and no luck here on ES. I am in the need of some basic lipo series diagrams. I am going to leave packs individual and series as I put them on the bike and a diagram of a wiring harness would help. Thanks guys.

The problem is, there are a zillion ways to hook them up, all right for one persons individual needs. Much depends on how you will be charging them.
Some of the best examples are in the threads that are linked to in the Battery FAQ section.

How I do it lately, is I make y adapters to parallel the packs in pairs. So each pair has one black and one red Y adapter.

Here's the diagram for the black one. Y And the red one is ,, Y Seriously, I'm not making fun of you, that's the diagram.
The connectors on all three ends of the Y adapter have the same connectors as the pack you are using has. This varies, but the cheap 20c stuff typically comes with 4mm bullets.

Then, if I want to parallel the balance wires, similar Y adapters are made from splicing balance wire extensions into a Y. In this case, a 6s pack would have 7 wires spliced in a Y. When making these, make sure you splice wire one with wire one. Not wire one with wire 7.

If you parallel more than two packs, then the Y becomes a three to one, 4 to one, or whatever.

Series connections are even simpler. Each pack connects it's + red wire to the - black wire of the next. When finished, the two remaining black and red wires go to your controller.
