a123's AMP20 LiFe cell is the perfect combination of high discharge, fast charge, low thermal load, high capacity, and long cycle/calendar life. They have have a very low IR, and are rated at 30c/600a (10 seconds) and 10c/200a continuous. a123 rates the AMP20 for 3,000 cycles to 100% DOD. That is 4 more AH than you would get from other lithium cells rated at an 80% DOD. In built packs, I have pulled 19.5ah from Amp20 cells discharged to a conservative 2.8v (a123 rates cutoff at 2.0v). Also rated for 3c/60a charging.
