The VT5 cells are sold at some place starting to about 13$ per cells wich is still 110 times more expensive than the BL1830 I'm offering but I expect that over the next months /years these will become available in large qty and also as defective and used packs.

You're linking to brand new cells Doc. I hope you don't expect to get anything close to those prices for used tool pack cells.

Hi Doc, so if I understand correctly, you sell Sony US18540VT5 cells for US$1.18 a cell, from used Makita packs. Sounds inviting! Are you able to ship to Brazil? I would want to build a 20s4p or 20s5p pack.

Absolutly not. You did not understod, sorry. I never mentionned i will sell them at a given price yet. Be patient when i'll get some i'll inform you all and also for the price i can offer them. but dont dream too much yet... the actual price for the VT5 is close to 13$ brand new and the V i'm selling now are 5.50$ brand new... That's abot 225% more expensive for a VT5.

btw one out of three shipment i did to Brazil was lost and i never recovered it my local post service said they can keep good tracking until it enter to Brazil... .. and needed to pay for another shipment or to refund the buyer... yes one out of 3!!

Makita 4ah packs have 18650vtc4 cells and makita 5ah packs have samsung inr18650-25r cells. I have only received one 5ah pack and ~20 4ah packs.. Maybe there are more in the future.
