My friend is close to throwing this bike out, he has had a lot of issues since he initially swapped the hall/phase wire which caused an issue (see post Problems with QS Motor when in hall sensor 5 position).
We have now fitted a new motor and have exactly the same issue as before, this time though there is a new hall step, hall 7. Looking at the MQCON literature, seeing this means... "if it show 0 or 7,the motor hall is wrong or the controller hall circuit is wrong". Does this mean the hall phase order is out of sync and causing the error on either the controller or motor side? The plug colours match but as I have learnt this week, this isnt always the case. My thought on an incorrect wiring setup would result in different behaviours on each hall position, not create a new hall position.
We did try swapping the main hall wires over this evening with no luck. I am thinking the next step maybe swapping hall wires over.
